Katie embodies a People-Centric Philosophy in all facets of her life. With a background in Business Development, Leadership, and Training, her passion for collaboration and helping others serves as the cornerstone of her success—not just in business, but also in the enduring relationships she has cultivated based on trust and a genuine desire to assist. She inherently understands that real estate transcends mere transactions; it’s about fostering lifelong relationships. 

Katie believes that knowledge and market insight are essential pillars in her real estate practice. As markets constantly shift, staying informed is critical.  Her clients and colleagues frequently praise her for her approachability, sense of humor, integrity, tenacity, and her eagerness to share knowledge while learning alongside them. Recognizing that buying or selling a home is both a significant financial and emotional milestone, she is dedicated to listening and understanding their needs, viewing real estate as a process that evolves through exploration and learning. 

Deeply committed to serving others, Katie has been actively involved in both local and international charities. She co-founded a project to fund wells in South Sudan and has traveled to Africa to support orphans and to Nicaragua for housing initiatives. She has organized multiple fundraisers for organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and The Healing Hands of Haiti, and she led a community day for a group home in honor of Nelson Mandela Day.  A passionate advocate for animals, Katie has personally rescued and rehomed many dogs. She has completed eight marathons, utilizing these events to raise funds for charities like The Healing Hands of Haiti, Bide-a-While Animal Shelter, and the SPCA. 

Katie acknowledges, with heartfelt gratitude, that her achievements are supported by many friends, colleagues, and businesses. Her commitment to a “People First” approach is reflected in her life choices and the like-minded individuals she cherishes. The success she experiences in real estate is built on the foundation of support from her clients, friends, and personal referrals—an honour she takes seriously and strives to uphold.
