Get to know more about Richard Cluett

Richard is a proud and true Bluenoser. He was born and raised in Lunenburg and is a fourth generation Lunenburger so he knows the history and development of this beautiful town and the outlying communities on the picturesque south shore of Nova Scotia. His family background is diverse having been comprised of fishermen, barbers, and rumrunners and his historical knowledge makes for a perfect introduction for those from away.Growing up in Lunenburg from the 50's to the 70's was one of the joys of his life but other interests took him out of town in 1972. Electronics, communications and computers led him into some interesting spots, from working in Labrador for a spell to working on Oil Rigs off Sable Island and in major cities across Canada. After retiring from the Canadian Coast Guard in 1997, Richard moved back to his beloved Lunenburg and decided to put his varied business background to work helping others experience the joy of the south shore, and finding them their perfect home. He quickly grew a significant real estate practice and later obtained his Brokers license to expand his industry knowledge. When asked, Richard can be heard saying: "It has been a pleasure helping many people sell or find their dream home or oceanfront property in Nova Scotia. We have a safe corner of North America, in "Canada's Ocean Playground", and it would be a pleasure to help you find your perfect location."
